GENERAL FAQs
Q: Can I return material? What is the process?
Most material can be returned in its original condition, less our 25% restocking fee. Bulk material, special order items and sod are final sale. Most material can be returned directly to our yard, aside from lights which should be brought into the main office. One of our yard associates will take the material from you and take some of your information. You can opt to provide your phone number, email or both, name, and invoice number. You will then receive either a text message or email containing a return reference number. Come into our office or give us a call with your return reference number for your refund to be processed.
Q: How can I place an order?
We have a few different ordering options available to make things convenient for all our customers! Orders can be placed over the phone, through our webstore, or in person at our store.
Q: How do I pick up my order?
If you pre-placed your order and have your invoice number, you can come pick up your order right away. If your order contains small accessories from our office, head into the store and provide your invoice number to an associate. If your order is natural stone or veneer, head to our lower yard by driving past the main office building and turning right at the end of the laneway. All other material is picked up from our upper yard, which is to the left of our main office building. Wait at the gate for a yard associate to meet you and get your invoice number, at which point you will be provided with further instructions. Our pick up process is completely paperless, you do not need to give us a physical copy of your invoice. We only require the invoice number, making things as simple as possible!
Q: Do you accept disposals?
Yes! We accept clean fill, concrete and asphalt disposals. The price depends on the quantity of material brought to us. There are maximums to the amount we will take in one load. For more information, please give us a call.
Q: Can I purchase a yard of material for pick up and fill my own containers?
Unfortunately due to safety restrictions, we are unable to allow customers to fill their own containers from our bulk loading area. Instead, we have BYO bins available in our parking lot for most of our bulk products. A cubic yard must be loaded into an open bed pickup truck or trailer.
Q: Can a supersac be loaded into my vehicle?
In most cases, no. Supersacs can be loaded into a pickup truck bed, a trailer, and space permitting, a large work van if loaded with a skid.
Q: Do you rent fill bins?
Q: Do you project plan?
We do not plan projects from start to finish, however if you pick the material you would like to use and provide us with the measurements for the space, we can calculate the materials that you require.
DELIVERY FAQs
Q: Can material be placed/dumped where I want?
Bulk (Dump Truck): Bulk deliveries are typically dumped on your driveway. Many customers opt to leave a tarp on their driveway so the driver knows exactly where they would like it. The driver will do their best to accommodate this.
Brick (Boom Truck): We offer curbside delivery during boom truck deliveries. The boom truck must remain on the road, and has a maximum reach of 10’. Therefore the material is placed at the bottom of your driveway or lawn boulevard.
Armour Stone (Large Rockery): We do not make placements of large rockery. The stone will be delivered on a skid via boom truck. Therefore the material is placed (remaining on the skid) at the bottom of your driveway or on the lawn boulevard.
Fill Bins: Fill Bins are delivered onto your driveway. They cannot be placed on the road. It is recommended to have plywood down to avoid any damage that can be caused by the bin. Click here for more info about our Fill Bin rentals: Click here for more info
Q: Do you guarantee delivery time?
We do not guarantee delivery times, only the delivery date. Deliveries happen within our current open hours. We are able to offer an AM or PM preference, but this is just a preference, not a guarantee. If you are inquiring about the window of when your order will come out, you can call on the day of your delivery and press extension 6 to be transferred to dispatch.
Q: Can I have multiple products delivered at once?
Yes! Many of our dump trucks have multiple compartments.

Q: Why are limestone screenings not recommended for an interlock base material?
When using limestone screenings as a base, it creates poor drainage under the stone. This can cause damage, loss of stone integrity, and can cause shifting of the stones over time. It is also extremely corrosive to nearby plant life.
It is important to note, using limestone screenings will void manufacturer warranties on interlocking stones when it is used as the base.
Q: When is the best time of the year to seal my patio?
Temperatures must be above 7 degrees to apply most sealers. It is recommended to wait 60 to 90 days after installing new pavers before sealing them. The main reason to wait is to allow the natural efflorescence to work its way out of the stone and not be trapped under a sealer. It is important to follow all application instructions listed on the can/container.
Q: When is the best time of the year to seed?
The ideal time of year to seed your lawn is late summer/early fall (mid-August to mid-September). During this period, soil moisture and temperature conditions are optimal for germination and establishment. There is also less competition from germinating weeds in the fall compared to the spring/summer.
