Excellent blend of sandy loam, aged mushroom compost, peatloam and composted pine mulch fines.

Gro-Veg is an all-in-one garden soil for raised beds and containers. Balanced for organic matter, mineral requirements and nutrients. Ideal for vegetables, herbs and leafy greens. Gro-Veg consists of Gro-Bark's Terroir Blend - aged bark fines, compost (leaf and yard waste) and duck manure that has been stabilized (gives a lot of extra organic nutrients) AND is then mixed with Arnts screened topsoil.

Soil amendment or mulch for gardens; improves aeration and water retaining capacity. Low pH compost ranging from 6.0 to 7.0. Not available in bags.

Chicken manure mixed with peatmoss that has been composted (aged) with straw at local mushroom farms. Add this material to existing garden beds as a natural fertilizer.

Peatloam is an attractive dark black loam from peat bogs/ponds. It helps retain moisture and is used as an aesthetic topping for garden beds. It has a low pH level but does not add any growing value to existing soil. Not available in Bag Your Own.

This material is used for grading and backfilling, as well as a 2" minimum base for sodding. We screen and test the soil for quality but do not add any nutrients.
